Emery to make 8 changes – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Arsenal XI to face Qarabag in the Europa League

Predicted Arsenal line-up to face Qarabag in the Europa League

Arsenal will travel to Azerbaijan to face FC Qarabag on matchday two of the Europa League at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The Gunners have been in good form, winning all of their seven previous games in three different competitions, including one in Europe.

They will face a Qarabag team who are on top of the Azerbaijan Premier League and flying at the moment. Hence, it won’t be easy for Unai Emery’s men to go there and get three points.

Team News

Laurent Koscielny, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are still way off from being included in the line-up. Petr Cech is out for 3-4 weeks with a hamstring injury.

Probable Arsenal XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Unai Emery

Bernd Leno (GK)

The German featured for the first time in the Premier League after Cech was taken off injured. He is a sure starter now.

Stefan Lichtsteiner (RB)

The Swiss international is expected to take part in cup competitions to offer Bellerin some well-deserved rest.

Rob Holding

Rob Holding (CB)

The youngster did well after replacing the injured Sokratis. He should continue at the heart of the defence on Thursday.

Skhodran Mustafi (CB)

Though Sokratis is fit, Mustafi may start this game, just like he did against Watford alongside Holding.

Sead Kolasinac (LB)

He was back in training last week and could start this game ahead of Nacho Monreal.

Matteo Guendouzi (CM)

The youngster now has the cup games to show his worth and fight for a position in the midfield.

Mohamed Elneny

Another player who is down the pecking order, expect him to start this contest.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (CAM)

The Armenian needs to perform well in this game if he is to get back into contention for a regular role.

Alex Iwobi

The Nigerian has been in terrific form this season under the new manager. He should start this game but don’t rule him out for regular participation in the league games either.
