Out of twenty teams there can only be one winner, but who looks destined to win the title this season? As the season goes on, it already looks to be a fierce battle to be the winning team at the end.
This season is due to last from August 2019 – May 2020, and with many matches to be played, anyone could be the winner. Each week teams need to perform their best in order to keep on winning and make it to the end of the tournament. There are many teams that are already standing out this season with Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham already first, second, and third in the league table. Just like placing a bet with online roulette, here are some teams that could be a good one to bet on this season.
Manchester City
As the defending champions, Manchester City have to work hard this season if they want to keep their title. With players like Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero as forwards, the team looks to be off to a promising start already. The team perform well each year and in the 2017-18 season, Manchester City even set the record for the most points scored in a season with 100 points.
Liverpool
Currently at the top of the league table, Liverpool are off to a great start this season with a total of 15 points so far. With some great players like Virgil Van Dijk and Mo Salah, Liverpool are set to take on anyone who comes against them. Manager Jurgen Klopp who has managed the team since 2015 is set to make sure Liverpool keep performing at a high level throughout the season. In their recent match against Newcastle United, Liverpool won 3-1 and the team also made a great opening game on August 9th with a 4-1 win against Norwich City.
Tottenham Hotspur
Last season, Tottenham finished fourth close behind Chelsea football club. With world-class striker Harry Kane on the team, Tottenham fans can be assured of goals this season. Although Kane had an injury last year, he looks set to take on his opponents this time round. With eight points down, the team has made a great start in the first part of this season. This month they came head to head with Arsenal in a 2-2 draw and received a great result two weeks later beating Crystal Palace 4-0.
