Everton completing £20m deal for this PL star would be a massive steal and Silva must get him

Everton opinion – Toffees want Ryan Fraser – a wise move?

According to a report in the Sun on Sunday (10/3/19, Page 61), Everton could make a £20m offer in the summer to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.

The Cherries are hoping to make him their highest-paid player, but are worried over the lack of progress made in contract discussions. Hence, it may invite the Toffees to offer a deal and potentially sign the player.

As per the Sun on Sunday (10/3/19, Page 61), Eddie Howe’s men are attempting to get the 25-year-old to commit to a new £100,000-a-week and that hasn’t found a breakthrough yet.

With the possible opportunity, here’s why Everton should do everything to sign the Scotland international:

Fraser’s quality would be a great addition to the Toffees

Ryan Fraser is a quality player who can operate on either wing and be a threat to the opposition defences. He has had a terrific season so far, leading the numbers for Bournemouth in terms of assists – 10.

The Scotsman has slotted in six goals to further boost his contributing numbers. Attribute-wise, the 25-year-old possesses the pace and dribbling skills to beat defenders in one-on-one situations. He can be a lethal weapon on the counter-attack because of the right decision-making ability.

Moreover, Fraser is not bad when it comes to finding the key passes and assisting his teammates in front of goal. At 25, he is closing in on his peak years, hence, the winger is only going to get better from here.

Everton haven’t had a very progressive first season under Marco Silva and loads of improvement needs to be made before the squad gets ready to challenge for the European places.

The first step towards righting the wrongs is to sign Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth to enhance the quality of their wide attacking areas. It is most probably because Theo Walcott hasn’t done well since arriving from Arsenal.

Conclusion

If Everton manage to sign Fraser in the summer, they will get a player who would be a constant threat to the defenders and has the propensity to create chances with good footwork and speed.
