Expect These Three Players At The Premier League This January As United, Chelsea And Liverpool Look To Add Depth

The dust has clearly settled down in the Premier league campaign after all the thrills and spills of the summer transfer window and the deadline day frenzies. But before you know, Christmas will be over and the rumour mills will start to knock on the door as we gear up for the January Transfer window to open. The missed out summer targets, the cheap loan deals and some mid-season panic buys will possibly keep us busy.

Teams like Liverpool who are already (if sources are to be believed) are gearing up to rope in Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, Manchester United are targeting Real Madrid starlet Fabio Conterao, whilst Chelsea are trying to hop in Max Kruse into their team. So let’s just have a look into the top three who might feature in the next season of the Premier League and whom we expect to see in action sometime soon.

Diego Costa

As we see the “Rodgers Revolution” era for Liverpool, rumours are doing the buzz that Diego Costa may be hopped in by the manager in the January Transfer window. Infact the Atletico Madrid striker has been offered a late £22m deal along with a whopping three times the salary at Atletico, as the Liverpool manager seeks to increase his attacking options. However Costa chose to stick to Atletico, it is highly apprehended that a great deal of drama is likely to occur in the January Transfer Window as Liverpool tries to cash in for Costa.

Coentrao

On the other side of the League we have Man United trying hard to bring in Fabio Coentrao. Manchester United manager David Moyes hoped to sign the Real Madrid defender on a season-long loan deal at the very end of the summer window after failing to sign Leighton Baines. On September 2013 United had launched a late loan bid for Coentrao but the deal was however off when Madrid chose to keep him as his replacement Guilherme Siqueira from Granada joined Benfica on loan.

The left-back who was very much interested in moving to England was heart broken that left him in tears. The latest news is that Coentrao, is also alleged to be on the top of Tottenham’s January shopping list as manager Andre Villas-Boas looks to further strengthen his squad. (According to Daily mail)

Max Kruse

While Liverpool and Manchester have been eyeing on Costa and Coentrao, Chelsea are not far behind and if buzzes are to be believed then German striker Max Kruse is likely to be hopped in. After a successful career at SC Freiburg, the 25-year old may appear for Chelsea, though no formal confirmation is available. Kruse has recently moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach, but when a team like Chelsea come calling, there are not many players who would have a negative answer to that and given his age, it will be the right time for the stiker to move to a bigger club and show his real potential.
There is nothing much to talk about the situation that the Blues face with their strikers and having sent out Romelu Lukakiu, Chelsea are stuck with misfiring Eto and Torres. Although, Kruse may not be their answer, he does bring in an additional option for Mourinho to look into.

Whatever it is the January Window transfers will showcase a lot of high voltage drama and action. Just stay tuned!
