Fantastic Fernandinho, Unreal Silva – The best and the worst Man City stars in the 3-0 win vs Fulham

Manchester City Player Ratings vs Fulham: Here’s how the Cityzens fared

Defending champions Manchester City breezed past Fulham to claim their fourth win in five games to keep pace with Chelsea and Liverpool. Goals from Leroy Sane, David Silva and Raheem Sterling sealed the deal for Pep Guardiola’s men, who were fantastic throughout.

Fulham tried to play their natural passing game at the Etihad but their opponents were too good at pressing and creating chances in abundance. Had it not been for Marcus Bettinelli, the Cottagers might have lost this game by a bigger margin. Such was the menace from City players.

Manchester City Player Ratings

Ederson (7)

He was very cool in passing from the back when Fulham pressed and made two good saves.

Kyle Walker (7)

Had the better of Ryan Sessegnon and put in good deliveries from the right-hand side.

Fabian Delph to Newcastle?
Fabian Delph

Nicolas Otamendi (7.5)

Remained dominant against Aleksandar Mitrovic and made a vital tackle to prevent Luciano Vietto from going through on goal.

Aymeric Laporte (7)

Started the game little slowly in possession but regained composure and defensive solidity.

Fabian Delph (7.5)

A fantastic performance from the makeshift left-back who looked like a proper player down the left-hand side.

Fernandinho (8)

Began the game by winning the ball higher up the pitch and crossing it for Sane’s goal. The Brazilian’s performance level was high.

Bernardo Silva

Bernardo Silva (8.5)

An imperious display from the Portuguese in the midfield, on and off the ball. He was just too good for the Fulham midfield at times.

David Silva (8)

Scored the second goal of the game and was involved in all the good work done by the team.

Raheem Sterling (7.5)

Wasted a couple of chances before scoring the goal in the second half. He always took up good positions inside the opposition box.

Sergio Aguero (7)

It was not his day to score a goal but always worked hard and eventually created the third goal of the game.

Leroy Sane

Leroy Sane (7.5)

A very good comeback performance from the German, who started with a goal and never stopped threatening Fulham.
