Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 36 Preview

With the season almost over, it is the time that the Fantasy Premier League managers just cannot slip and have to be at their supreme to end their season on a high. Three gameweeks is all that is left for the managers to show their mettle and thus they should be extra alert heading into gameweek 36. Moreover the fixture for gameweek 36 provides the perfect opportunity to the Fantasy Premier League managers to accumulate some valuable points and boost their rankings. With the race for the Champion’s League spots still wide open, the managers have plenty of choices to pick from and picking the right choice would surely give them the edge. Some of the points that the Fantasy Premier League managers cannot miss this week are as follows.

Double gameweek for Manchester City

With already having lost the title to United, City would not prefer to finish below second in the league table and thus would take their remaining matches very seriously. This week they play against Swansea and West Brom, providing a fair chance of good returns for the managers. The player who is bringing in the most attacking points right now for City is definitely Nasri. The £8.1m French has brought 32 points in the last five games for his owners and looks to have cemented his place well in the team right now. So the managers can take a punt and include him in their squad to score some late season bonus points. In the defensive sector the only player that Mancini has remained constant with is Kompany. The Belgian had been barred from the rotation policy and thus could be thought of, provided the managers are ready to shed the money for him.

Chelsea have the toughest fixture

The long season just got tougher for Chelsea with them winning the semifinal of the Europa Cup and needing to play the final. But before that they must go though some rigorous test in their own league with back to back matches against champions Manchester United and Spurs in a matter of 3 days. However great a team may be, handling two such opponents in such a short span is no mean task and although Luiz and Mata are in supreme form at the moment, we would recommend the Fantasy Premier League to avoid Chelsea players at the moment and look for players elsewhere.

Do not ignore Bale

The race for the Champions League now does not depend on any other player as much as it depends on Bale at the moment. His performance in the last three games that he has played has fetched him 38 points and his role can be crucial for Spurs in the remaining 4 matches. Moreover Spurs have a double gameweek 36 and his price of £10.7m should not be a factor for the Fantasy Premier League managers  who aim to finish at the top in question to including him in their team.
