Fantasy Premier League Tips – 4 Top-notch Players To Pick For Game-week 5 Including Tottenham And Manchester City Stars

Four Players To Pick For Game-week 5 In The Fantasy Premier League

It’s 2017 and unsurprisingly, Fantasy Football generates as much hype as real football. It gives the fans a chance to manage teams and players, and as such, it is necessary to follow the game regularly. With European competition kicking in, clubs will be rotating players and it is necessary to account for such changes as well. With all that in mind, here are my 4 picks for game-week 5 in the Fantasy Premier League:

1. Dele Alli – Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs registered an impressive 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the midweek Champions League game, but Alli did not feature in it due to his 3-game ban from European competitions. As such, the English international, who has scored twice in 4 Premier League games this season, is certain to start and probably play for a full 90 minutes in their weekend fixture against a faltering Swansea City. As such, he would be a much better pick than his team-mate Eriksen or Son, both of whom featured against the German side.

2. Roberto Firmino – Liverpool

Firmino has been in red hot form this season, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in the league. Burnley, on the other hand, have been hapless defensively and have conceded in 3 of their 4 matches so far. At Anfield, the Reds have been particularly ruthless, netting 5 goals in 2 games. With Sadio mane suspended for the next 3 games, it will be imperative for the Reds that their Brazilian forward fires on all cylinders if they are to rest the demons of their shameful 5-0 loss to Manchester City.

3. Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Pep Guardiola, unsurprisingly, did not start Aguero in their midweek game against Feyenoord but brought him on at the hour mark to provide more firepower up front. However, he is certain to start, and I dare say, score against Watford in their next game. He and Gabriel Jesus have both scored 6 goals each in just 7 games this season, and the Argentinian forward will once again has to be at his lethal best if his side is to register a victory against a stubborn Watford side who have let in only 4 goals so far this season.

4. Jamie Vardy – Leicester City

With the World Cup on the horizon, it seems Jamie Vardy has finally woken up and put away the difficulties of last season to bed. He has scored 3 goals in 4 games for the Foxes, and 3 of them have been against last season’s top 6. This weekend, they play a Huddersfield side who had started well but were beaten by a poor West Ham side comprehensively last week. As such, the onus will be on the Englishman to make a strong case for himself and score a few against the Premier League newbies.
