Five Players Who Can’t Be Dropped From Your FPL Playing Eleven Featuring Liverpool And Tottenham Stars

Heading into the 35th game week of the English Premier League, the excitement over one of the most reputed game such as the Fantasy Premier League still hasn’t died down and why? Because there are players out there who never cease to amaze us and they continuously deliver and things are so much thrilling that you’re left craving for more. FA Cup semi-final clashes are looming large and hence, there will be only 7 matches this weekend but there will no shortage of drama as all the clubs involved in the title race square of this weekend featuring the relegation threatened clubs such as Sunderland and Newcastle as well.
We look at 5 players who must feature in your Fantasy Premier league playing eleven this week!

1) Sergio Aguero

This Argentinian Talisman has been a key figure in the resurgence of Manchester City and heading to Etihad this weekend, City hosts a lowly Stoke who were plummeted by title contenders Tottenham in their previous game. Stoke City’s defence looks already wobbly and with support coming from either of De Bruyne or Sterling, Aguero is sure to hit the ball into the net and hence considering that City plays at home, Aguero is sure to get you the points and making him the captain wouldn’t be a bad decision either.

2) Harry Kane

West Brom are one of the renowned defensive sides in the premier league and Tony Pulis too is a defensive minded manager but that probably won’t stop Pochettino’s men from scoring goals and who’s been the key man heading Tottenham’s attack? Harry Kane of course. Another 20 plus goals for Harry Kane this season is a testament to the belief of his amazing rise. West Brom’s last game came against Tottenham’s London rivals Arsenal where they failed to keep Wenger’s men at bay and this weekend it’s pretty evident that a relentless Tottenham attack will continue to penetrate West Brom and with Harry Kane fit and fine, he is a player you just can’t leave out of your FPL team.

3) Toby Alderweireld

Toby Alderweireld, in my opinion, has to be the bargain of the season and he is one of the best centre-backs in the premier league. His role at the back is unmatchable and since West Brom is a defensive team, it is vital that you play Alderweireld because there are  many great chances that Tottenham will emerge victorious and keep a clean sheet as well. Toby’s chances of keeping a clean sheet will be bolstered by the presence of Hugo Lloris between the posts. Tottenham have managed to keep several clean sheets this season and it won’t be a surprise when the same thing happens at White Hart Lane on Tuesday. This is the only match that won’t take place on the weekend.

4) Riyad Mahrez

Leicester City will be depending on their biggest player this weekend with Jamie Vardy suspended and none can come any bigger than one of their starlets of this season in the name of Riyad Mahrez. Mahrez has surprised everybody watching him and he still excites so many football fans with his composure and stupendous ball control and against a lowly Swansea City at the King Power Stadium, Mahrez will look to extend his goal tally as well and on another side he’ll be looking to lace the Leicester forwards with assists be it Shinji Okazaki or Leonardo Ulloa leading Leicester’s attack without Vardy. Mahrez is a player you can’t afford to drop out so make sure he is on your team!

5) Roberto Firmino

Liverpool’s resurgence is largely because of commendable performances coming from some men who have stepped up the game to greater limits and one of them is Roberto Firmino. The young Brazilian with his startling pace, quick touches and a calculative presence of mind has beaten several defenders so far and once again, Liverpool will look forward to Firmino when Newcastle Visit the Anfield with Rafa Benitez returning to the ground where he is largely expected and we can all trust goals from the Brazilian to come!
