Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have established themselves as the most entertaining team in the Premier League this season, scoring more goals than any other team in the league. They are currently just a point off the top of the Premier League table and are looking to post a strong title challenge this season. They have also entered the semi-final of the League Cup and are looking strong in the domestic arena with no European commitments.

However, they were dealt a huge blow this week after it was revealed that star player Philippe Coutinho is out for at least 6 weeks nursing an injury. The Brazilian might not be back to his best at least till January at a time when Liverpool will lose inform winger Sadio Mane to national duties. So Klopp might need a few of his academy players to fill in and here are 3 youngsters who might get a chance to impress in the absence of the star duo at Anfield:

Sheyi Ojo:

Having already impressed the manager with his performances in the previous season, the young English winger is one of the most exciting prospects in the Liverpool academy and is registered in the squad for the Premier League for the Reds at the start of the season. He is yet to make an appearance this season but has already got a few junior games under his belt to get back to fitness. His pace and finishing abilities are his biggest strength and at his age, he will only get better the more playing time he gets. So it will not come as a surprise if Klopp uses him more often than not in this busy period till February.

Ben Woodburn:

Having broken the record and standing as the youngest goal scorer for the senior Liverpool side, Ben Woodburn is now a popular man in the Liverpool circle. At 17, he has already shown great quality in front of goal and has made his Premier League debut in the game against Sunderland last weekend. He is back training with the first squad and is expected to take big strides in years to come and the situation at the club is perfect for him to have an impact and take the next big step in his career. He is a smart and gifted player who has the ability to take the attack to the opposition and he may get his chances in the senior side before the end of the current season.

Harry Wilson:

Back at Anfield after a year on loan at Crewe, the 19-year old winger is one of the most promising youngsters coming out of the Liverpool academy. He has been in sublime form for the junior side and part of the reason for him not being introduced in the Premier League is his superb run of form for the U20 side. He is a top class athlete who knows his way around a defender while his shooting and finishing abilities make him even more dangerous. At his age, he is still learning the game and exposure to the senior side can only do him good. He is not good enough yet to start regularly for the senior but he has more than enough potential to help his side in the absence of their two star players.

Who do you think will Klopp use in this crunch period for Liverpool?
