Forget it Klopp – Liverpool are better off without swapping this 20-goal hitman for £44m plus this Juve ace

Liverpool Opinion – The Reds shouldn’t go ahead with the Salah-Dybala swap offer

According to a report in Daily Mail (h/t Tuttomercatoweb), Italian champions Juventus have been once again linked with a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

It is understood that the Old Lady have tabled an extraordinary offer worth
£44m plus Dybala to get Salah on towards Turin. Juve’s director of football Fabio Paratici is extremely keen to get this swap deal done.

The report also suggests that the Egyptian king is an alternative option for the Italian giants, if they fail to sign Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina.

On the other hand, Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool last summer that doesn’t include a release clause.

Here’s why the Reds shouldn’t entertain this swap offer and concentrate keeping hold their star forward:

Salah is too important to Liverpool at this stage of their development

Despite not having the kind of season he had last time around, Mohamed Salah remains an integral part of this Liverpool team at their current stage of development as one of the big boys in European circuit.

The Egyptian has scored 20 goals in all competitions this year and still manages to impact the game, even if he doesn’t get the ball into the back of the net.

Furthermore, the combination play of Liverpool’s front three, that includes him, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, cannot be broken into parts. Hence, it is imperative from the team’s point of view that they get to see more of this combination play in the upcoming seasons.

For that to happen, Salah must stay at Anfield beyond this summer. From the player’s viewpoint, Liverpool are in their best shape under Jurgen Klopp, where they are fighting for the league title and look a proper Champions League side.

Hence, there shouldn’t be any reason for the 26-year-old to leave the club at this point in time.
