Forrest On The Right, Ntcham To Start – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Celtic Line-Up To Face Hibernian

Predicted Celtic Line-up To Face Hibernian In The Scottish Premiership

Celtic will look to extend their unbeaten run in domestic competitions to 68 games when they face off against Hibernian at the Easter Road, on Sunday.

The Bhoys are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 37 points from 15 games so far, maintaining a healthy 7-point gap over second-placed Rangers, who have played an extra game as well. Manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to further increase the gap by collecting all three points against the Hibs.

Team News

Winger Patrick Roberts has been ruled out for a considerable amount of time due to injury, while young defender Anthony Ralston still remains unavailable for the Hoops. There are no other fresh injury concerns for Rodgers to deal with.

Here’s how the Scottish champions might line up against the Hibs:

Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Craig Gordon (GK)

The 34-year old Scottish stopper will continue to start between the sticks for the Bhoys against Hibernian on Sunday.

Mikael Lustig (RB)

The Swedish right-back had a tough game during the midweek against Anderlecht. Will look to bounce back with a strong display.

Mikael Lustig

Dedryck Boyata (CB)

The Belgian defender is a permanent fixture in the backline for the Hoops. It is unlikely that Rodgers might look to change that.

Nir Bitton (CB)

Having returned from injury, the Israeli international could start alongside Boyata, in order to afford Jozo Simunovic some rest.

Kieran Tierney (LB)

Completing the back four for the Scottish champions should be young and exciting 20-year old left-back Kieran Tierney.

Scott Brown (CM)

The club captain is another constant presence in the team for Rodgers and he should stick to it for the contest on Sunday.

Olivier Ntcham (CM)

The Frenchman should come into the starting line-up in place of Stuart Armstrong, who had a forgetful game during the midweek.

James Forrest (RW)

On the right flank, Scottish international James Forrest should continue to feature from the get-go in the absence of Patrick Roberts.

Scott Sinclair

Tom Rogic (CAM)

The Aussie attacking midfielder may get the nod in the No.10 role ahead of Callum McGregor for the clash against the Hibs.

Scott Sinclair (LW)

Had a terrible game against Anderlecht in the Champions League and will want to put it behind with a good showing in the upcoming game.

Moussa Dembele (ST)

Spearheading the attack for the Bhoys should be French striker Moussa Dembele. Will look to add to his tally of 4 league goals this season.
