The Premier League returns after a midweek round of the League Cup and most of us are excited to see our teams play and hopefully bag a victory as well. FPL participants will be hoping for a better return for their side in this game week and we provide a list of five players who would be doing the damage, in a positive way in this game week and bring you a bucket load of points.
Anthony Martial
Three goals in two games that should be enough for anyone to bring the Manchester United striker Anthony Martial into their FPL squad. The young Frenchman looks to be a handful for any defence and is full of confidence, it would not be a surprise if we see him score a goal or two this weekend and with him playing alongside Wayne Rooney, it could just light up the Manchester United attack like we all have known over the years.
Alberto Moreno
With Liverpool reverting to a 3-5-2, of sorts, Alberto Moreno has found his place in the team once again and looks to be the best Liverpool player; He set up Danny Ings for the goal against Norwich and has looked a handful down the left for Liverpool. Pace and attacking ability, Moreno would be a great choice for his energy up and down the field.
Eden Hazard
Hazard might not be in the best of form but he did score in the game against Arsenal and that could give him the confidence to do better this weekend. His team takes on a Newcastle team without a victory this season and that could be the best thing for Hazard as he looks to get his season back on track. Hazard might be an expensive buy but keeping the Belgian in the team is a better option than keeping him out.
Kevin De Bruyne
With David Silva not being in the team due to injury, the creative onus is on the Belgian attacker. De Bruyne scored in the last Premier League game against West Ham and he will be at the heart of all the attacks of Manchester City until Silva is back. De Bruyne might be looking to make the best use of this chance and possibly get you a glut of points.
Dimitri Payet
If you had followed our last article, we had stated that you need to bring in Riyad Mahrez but the other player lighting up the Premier League is West Ham’s Dimitri Payet and with the Hammers set to play Norwich and Sunderland, he could be providing a lot of assists for the Hammers, you need to bring him into your team and fast.
