Former Chelsea star Andre Schurrle could be set for a return to the Premier League as a struggling Stoke City side are understood to be keen on signing him this January. New manager Paul Lambert has quite an uphill battle ahead of him. The Potters are merely one point ahead of the dreaded relegation zone and if they are to preserve their top-flight status and finish the season on a strong note, a player like Schurrle could most certainly boost their chances.
Schurrle is an incredibly versatile forward with excellent finishing skills. He has prior experience of playing in England as well, which is likely to come as a massive advantage.
