Go for it Nuno – This Egyptian trickster’s supreme talents will be a great addition to this dynamic Wolves side in the summer

Wolverhampton Wanderers Opinion: Nuno must lure Sobhi from Terriers

According to reports from Daily Mail, Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves side have developed a very keen interest in Huddersfield central-midfielder Ramadan Sobhi who is currently on loan at Ahly in the Egyptian league.

Since making the switch back to him come country in January, Sobhi has caught the eye of followers all over the world during his 6 appearances so far for his former club. He has been exceptional down the flank and even scored a goal for them in the process.

Ramadan Sobhi

He is a pacy winger who is capable of delivering some excellent balls into the box. Having joined Stoke City from Ahly back in 2014, he further moved on to Huddersfield Town in 2018.

His movement down the left side will be useful to Wolves. His dribbling abilities are backed up by his intelligence and while he does tend to get caught in possession on occasion, he is a hard worker who does put in effort into the recovery process.

His time at Stoke City wasn’t overly successful as is seen in his numbers from the time. His return of just 3 goals and 3 assists from 46 Premier League appearances is highly underwhelming for a player touted to be such a big talent.

His pace and trickery are why he is a coveted member of the Egyptian national team. Playing alongside Mohamed Salah on multiple occasions, Sobhi has made 28 appearances for Egypt and even scored a goal for his country in the process.

As suggested by Daily Mail, Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side are said to be very keen on bringing the Egyptian talent to the Molineux. His movement and elusiveness of the left side will boosted by the presence of talented players like Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

With Diogo Jota as the only recognised left-winger in the Wolves ranks and Ivan Cavaleiro often having to back up, the addition of such a talented player is bound to do wonders for them in the upcoming seasons.

If they’re able to sign up the 22-year-old, they are assured to be getting a top quality player who can actually help them push for the European places and in a squad with good depth in other positions, his addition is only going to strengthen.

His strengths and abilities certainly suit Wolves’ dynamic attacking style of play and his development will speed up tenfold once he’s under the able guidance of Nuno. Wolves must ensure that they’re able to complete this signing during the summer window.
