Predicted Nottingham Forest line-up to face Bristol City in the EFL Championship

Nottingham Forest’s hopes of getting promoted to the Premier League starts off with a tricky Championship game away to Bristol City at Ashton Gate. Aitor Karanka’s men will be hoping to begin the season well to continue the momentum they have after beating Bournemouth five days back.

Forest have been without top-flight football since 1999 and would be eager to taste it again. Bristol will provide a proper test for Karanka’s men, which will aid them to realise the challenge ahead.

Nottingham have made some very vital signings this summer to improve their squad. New imports Diogo Goncalves, Hillal Soudani, Lewis Grabban and Joao Carvalho are all fit to start at Ashton Gate.

Meanwhile, the likes of Jack Robinson and Michael Dawson will add security and steel at the back for Forest to shore their backline up when required.

The new recruit from Benfica will be perfect to what Karanka wants in central areas of the pitch. He will get the freedom to join attacks as he has the creative edge over other midfielders.

Ben Osborn (CDM)

The versatile defensive-minded player can be used in a defence-shielding role and expect 100% from him.

Ben Watson (LCM)

The former Watford man is there to be a hardworking player, covering the ground and impacting both fronts of the game.

Hillal Soudani

Hillal Soudani (RW)

The Algerian international was terrific for Dinamo Zagreb before his arrival to Nottingham Forest. So, the supporters can expect big things from the new-comer this season.

Lewis Grabban (ST)

Recruited from Bournemouth this summer, Grabban will add goals to the line-up, which is exactly what Forest were missing last season.
