Here are 2 quality signings Graham Potter could complete for Swansea to gain PL promotion

Swansea City have appointed former Ostersunds FK boss Graham Potter as their new manager on a three-year deal.

The Welsh club were on the lookout for a new manager after Carlos Carvalhal left at the end of the season, following their relegation from the Premier League. And now, Potter, who did amazingly well at Swedish outfit Ostersunds, will be tasked with leading the Swans back to the top-flight.

The 43-year-old Englishman has his work cut out, and a lot will be riding on how his first transfer window in-charge of Swansea pans out. Here are two players Potter could sign in the summer.

Glen Kamara (Dundee FC)

The 22-year-old Dundee midfielder has been linked with a move to Swansea and he has the potential to be a hit at the Liberty Stadium.

The Welsh outfit have already lost midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung after the South Korean announced he will be leaving the club upon the expiry of his contract. In addition, Leon Britton announcing his retirement and the absence of Leroy Fer through injury means the Swans need to strengthen their midfield before the start of the season.

Kamara was one of Dundee’s best players last season. He made 46 appearances across all competitions for the Scottish club, providing two assists.

A defensive midfielder, who can also play as a right-back, the three-time capped Finland international is young, dynamic and would add an energetic presence to Swansea.

Ken Sema (Ostersunds FK)

One of Potter’s former players, Ostersunds FK’s Ken Sema has been linked with following the Englishman to the Liberty Stadium this summer.

The 24-year-old winger was signed by Ostersunds under Potter back in 2016. Sema has grown into becoming an important player for the Swedish side, having thus far made 84 appearances in all competitions for them, scoring 10 times and setting up 28 more.

Capped on five occasions by the Sweden national team, Sema did not make the cut for the 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup but he is on the stand-by list.

Halfway through the 2018 Swedish league, he has made 11 appearances, registering five assists. Sema, who can play on either flank, is speedy, powerful and a diligent worker. Potter knows the player very well as he had a huge hand in helping him flourish over the past couple of years. And their successful partnership could continue at Swansea.
