Here Are 3 Reasons Why £36m Man United Star Should Join Tottenham Before The Deadline Day

Three Reasons Why Anthony Martial Should Join Tottenham This Summer

Manchester United have made a dream start to their Premier League campaign as they have now scored 8 goals in the first two games, keeping two clean sheets, winning 6 points, to stand at the top of the Premier League table after the second weekend of the season. Jose Mourinho will be happy with the way his squad is performing at the moment but he might struggle to keep a certain Anthony Martial happy at the club.

The French international does not seem to be in the good books of Mourinho, who does not start him regularly. But time and again, Martial has shown what he is capable of by coming off the bench and it does not come as a surprise that he has been linked with an exit. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly desperate for his signature and here are three reasons why he should shift clubs before the deadline day:

First Team Chances

Martial is a striker, who is constantly played on the wing. He seems to have adjusted well to the requirements of the club and the manager but he has still been unable to break into the first team under Jose Mourinho, who has preferred to play the young Marcus Rashford on the wing. United may yet sign another winger, further pushing Martial down the pecking order. So he is better off moving to Spurs, where he will atleast be the first choice on the wing and replace Harry Kane in the attack during contingencies.

Perfect fit for Pochettino

At just 21, Martial is one of the most exciting youngsters in world football and is exactly the kind of prey Mauricio Pochettino feeds upon really well. The Argentine manager is a great nurturer of young talent, as it is evident with Harry Kane and Dele Alli, and Martial will be no different. He has proven potential at the highest stage and could turn into a world beater under the former Southampton manager in the years to come.

Name For Himself

Most importantly, Martial needs to quit Old Trafford to come out of the shadows of the likes of Pogba and Lukaku. It was Zlatan last season and it be will another name the next. So there is very little chance that Martial will establish himself as an indispensable star for Manchester United. He is still young, has loads of time and has enough quality to have already established himself at the highest level. He will get a chance to do so at Tottenham, and he should take it with open arms.
