“He isn’t the man for next season”: Some Celtic fans let their opinion known after 0-0 draw vs Hibernian + Match report

Hibernian vs Celtic Report – Celtic Match Report

Celtic’s wait for clinching the Premier League title continues as they were held to a goalless draw by Hibernian at Easter Road. As a result, the Hoops remain nine points clear at the top, with four games to go. Hence, they probably need four more points to wrap up the title.

It was Hibernian who began the game with more menace and created good chances. However, after that riding onslaught, the away side came into their stride and started taking control of proceedings.

Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano made two great saves to deny Odsonne Edouard and Jozo Simunovic from scoring. Earlier, Celtic stopper Scott Bain did make a good save to keep Oli Shaw out from a shot from just six yards out.

It remained a game of margins as Celtic tried to push forward for a winner, but Hibernian were equal to the task defensively. Furthermore, the home side had the answer in terms of producing attacking moments of their own.

There were a total of 33 attempts on goal by both teams combined, with nine of them being on target. It showed that there was no shortage of ambition from either side. Hence, we can say that a stalemate is a fair outcome.

Celtic are now 14 games unbeaten in the league. They must have been aiming to get a win today, but a point away from home against a tricky opponent is not bad either.

Here’s how their fans reacted after this game (Safe to say, they were not happy with the performance):
