Hodgson to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Crystal Palace line-up to face Liverpool

Predicted Crystal Palace Line-up To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

Crystal Palace will hope to pull further away from the relegation zone when they take on Liverpool at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The Eagles placed 16th in the Premier League table, with 30 points from 31 games, staying two points ahead of Southampton who occupy the 18th spot. Manager Roy Hodgson will be hoping to widen the distance between his side and the relegation zone by causing an upset against his former employers at home this weekend. Their previous game ended in a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

Probable Crystal Palace XI

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Formation: 4-3-3

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

The Wales international is the first-choice shot-stopper for the Eagles and should take the field against Liverpool on Saturday.

Aaron wan-Bissaka (RB)

The academy graduate has been quite brilliant in recent weeks at right-back but will face a stern test going up against Sadio Mane.

Mamadou Sakho

James Tomkins (CB)

The former West Ham United defender was on the scoresheet against Huddersfield in the previous game and will look to take the confidence into Saturday’s match as well.

Mamadou Sakho (CB)

Going up against his former club, Frenchman Mamadou Sakho will be keen on putting up a solid display to keep Roberto Firmino quiet.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB)

Completing the back four for the Eagles should be Dutchman Patrick van Aanholt. How he fares against top scorer Mo Salah will have a bearing on the outcome.

Yohan Cabaye (CM)

The Frenchman did not start against Huddersfield but should find himself in the playing XI against Liverpool, in place of James McArthur.

Luka Milivojevic (CM)

The Serbian defensive midfielder scored a goal in the previous game for Eagles and will be hoping to lead his team to another victory on Saturday.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM)

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder wasn’t a part of the starting line-up in the win against Huddersfield but he is likely to get the nod for Saturday’s game.

Andros Townsend (RW)

On the right flank, it should be the lively Andros Townsend. He has the ability to trouble defences with his movement and long-range shots.

Christian Benteke (ST)

Another former Liverpool player in the line-up, Belgian striker Christian Benteke will be hoping to make a mark against his former employers and lead Palace to a win.

Wilfried Zaha (LW)

The Ivory Coast international remains Palace’s biggest weapon in the attack, with his pace, trickery and directness. A definite starter on the left-hand side.
