How Will West Ham Line-Up With this Serie A Goal Scoring Machine

Slaven Bilic certainly isn’t wasting time this season as he looks to push West Ham further in their search for Champions League football and even more. The side played some great football last season and had it been for a few better results, they could have finished in the top four.

This season would be tougher as many other quality managers are coming to take the Premier League test but Bilic knows that a few astute signings here and there could take West Ham to the next level, at a new stadium that too.

One player who has been linked with a move to the Hammers is Carlos Bacca, the AC Milan striker. Bacca didn’t really enjoy his team at AC Milan and he could prove to be a great signing for West Ham if the deal does come through but just how would the Hammers line-up with the Colombian in the side? Let us have a look.

The goalkeeper would not be Darren Randolph but Adrian, the Spanish goalkeeper missed a chunk of the season out injured and he should be looking to make his return to the first team at the start of this season.

Even though West Ham did sell James Tomkins to Crystal Palace, it should not affect their central defensive partnership as the pair of Angelo Ogbonna and Winston Reid did do pretty well, they could also play James Collins in the centre of defence.

The players out wide in defence should be Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell, with both players enjoying excellent seasons in both aspects of the game, attack and defence.

The midfield also wouldn’t face a lot of changes at the moment with no one except Atiba Hutchinson rumoured to be on his way to the Hammers. The midfield trio of Mark Noble, Manuel Lanzini and Cheikhou Kouyate doing the damage next season and Noble should be looking to continue his excellent form from last season too.

The real change comes right up top, Carlos Bacca would be a great replacement for the perennially injured Andy Carroll and he should be starting games more often than not. The two players who would be supporting the former AC Milan star should be Dimitri Payet, who else could it be? And Diafra Sakho.

West Ham would be looking for more Payet magic next season but with the likes of Bacca joining and giving them an extra dimension when it comes to pace and strength next season, the sky is the limit for the side and hopefully, they can achieve all the goals that are set at the start of August.
