Howe to make 1 change – Predicted 4-4-1-1 Bournemouth line-up to face Southampton

Predicted Bournemouth Line-up To Face Southampton In The Premier League

In the battle of the teams from the south coast of England, Southampton host Bournemouth as they desperately try to engineer a last-ditch attempt to get out of the relegation zone. Bournemouth, however, have a fairly strong squad and despite a poor run of form, are sitting comfortably at 11th.

Probable AFC Bournemouth XI

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Manager: Eddie Howe

Asmir Begovic (GK)

Bournemouth’s custodian will continue to keep his place in the squad and will bid to keep a clean sheet against the Saints.

Simon Francis (RB)

Cherries captain Simon Francis should continue to feature at the back and must look to distribute the ball to the wingers.

Steve Cook (RCB)

Steve Cook should start and will be tasked with keeping Charlie Austin and co. at bay.

Charlie Daniels

Nathan Ake (LCB)

A consistent performer for Bournemouth, Ake should continue at the back alongside Cook.

Charlie Daniels (LB)

Daniels will maraud down the wing as he bids to cross the ball into the Southampton defence and split them open.

Dan Gosling (RCM)

One of Bournemouth’s most consistent players this season, Gosling will look to win the midfield battle and keep the Cherries ticking.

Lewis Cook

Lewis Cook (LCM)

The other Cook in the team will complement Gosling and will be tasked with doing the hard work of shielding the defenders when Gosling heads forward.

Jordon Ibe (LM)

The former Liverpool man should continue on the wings and would know that he has to work in tandem with Charlie Daniels to get more crosses in.

Ryan Fraser (RM)

Fraser should play on the right-wing and might shift spots with Ibe in order to create chaos in the Saints backline.

Joshua King would be a good signing for Newcastle
Joshua King

Joshua King (SS)

The Cherries forward will look to extend his run this season and get in on the loose balls as they bid to strike early.

Callum Wilson (ST)

Wilson should continue to play up front and might fight off competition from Jermaine Defoe.
