Real Madrid Winger, Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that he still misses his previous boss and mentor Sir Alex Ferguson. Joining from Portuguese club Sporting, the unknown youngster was groomed into a superstar under Ferguson for six long years before making a switch to Santiago Bernabeu and still remains fond of his old manager three years later.
Ronaldo said: “He’s a fantastic person. A human person. He taught me many things.
“Like I said before, he’s like a father in football.
“I really miss him and my relationship with him.”
But Ronaldo reckons Fergie is still tough with his players despite the fact he will be 71 in December.
He added: “He is very tough. I think he cannot be like that because, how old is he? 70? It’s not good for his heart.
“He’s still tough, strong, I remember him the first time I saw him he was with the same power.”
