Predicted Manchester City Line-up To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

Manchester City may have picked up seven points from their opening three games but they were far from satisfactory in any of their games and are now going into their biggest game of the season yet, this weekend. They welcome an exciting Liverpool side to Etihad this weekend in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday, in search of three more points.

The Reds are fresh from a 4-0 victory over Arsenal at home and are expected to face a slightly more competitive opposition here this weekend, than what they faced at Anfield a few days ago. Guardiola has a strong squad to choose from and will not be happy with anything less than 3 points.

Winger Raheem Sterling is suspended for this game after he picked up a red card in the dying minutes of the game against Bournemouth. Skipper Vincent Kompany missed the national duty with Belgium but is expected to be fit for this tie. Ilkay Gundogan remains the only other player missing for the manager.

The Brazilian will have to make sure that the visitors are not given space and time on the ball if his side are to take anything from this game.

The Spaniard has slowly picked up some form and will be one of the many danger-men to Liverpool on the night.

Yet to get out of first gear this season, De Bruyne had a quiet time with Belgium as well and will be looking to made amends this weekend.

The pacey winger has troubled Liverpool in the past and Pep will hope that he can rattle the likes of Moreno on the wing.

The Brazilian sensational has been one of the most exciting players so far for City and if he remains at his usual self against a rather vulnerable Liverpool defence, it should be a comfortable game for the Citizens.

ST – Sergio Aguero

The Argentine hit-man should continue to lead the attack and offer his rather extraordinary goal scoring abilities to his team.
