Predicted Rangers Line-up To Face Dundee FC In The Scottish Premiership

Pedro Caixinha’s Rangers will face Dundee FC in the fifth round of fixtures of the Scottish Premiership, at the Ibrox Stadium, this Saturday.

The Gers have had a decent start to their league campaign and currently sit 5th in the table, with 7 points, after overseeing two wins, a loss and a draw in the first four games of the season. They come into the game on the back of a 3-1 win over Ross County away from home, which was before the international break, and the manager will be hoping that his side carry on the good form in the fixture against Dundee at home.

Team News

Josh Windass was absent for the win over Ross County but he could be back in contention for selection for the Saturday’s game at the Ibrox.

Manager: Pedro Caixinha

Formation: 4-4-2

Wes Foderingham (GK)

Has been the preferred option in goal ahead of Jak Alnwick and it is unlikely to change for the clash on Saturday.

James Tavernier (RB)

The 26-year old hasn’t missed a single game so far for the Gers and has scored two and assisted two goals. Will take the field at right-back against Dundee.

James Tavernier

Fabio Cardoso (CB)

The 23-year old summer signing has been another constant fixture in the backline for Caixinha since the start of the season. Will start against Dundee.

Bruno Alves (CB)

The veteran Portuguese centre-back is the man who the manager is likely to choose as the partner for Cardoso in the heart of the defence.

Lee Wallace (LB)

Completing the backline will be captain and long-serving defender Lee Wallace. The 30-year old should start at left-back, ahead of new signing Declan John.

Daniel Candeias (RM)

The 29-year old Portuguese wide man has been entrusted with providing the threat from the right-hand side. Will look to add more to his tally of one goal and one assist.

Daniel Candeias

Ryan Jack (CM)

Signed from rivals Aberdeen this summer, the 25-year old has become a key cog in the middle of the park. Will get another start.

Graham Dorrans (CM)

Partnering Jack will be another summer addition, Graham Dorrans. The former Norwich City man looks like a quality addition and has scored twice already.

Niko Kranjcar (LM)

The 33-year old experienced midfielder was used in an unnatural left-wing position against Ross County and Caixinha might stick with him for the game, as he eases Windass back into the squad.

Niko Kranjcar

Kenny Miller (ST)

The veteran forward is still going strong as ever and has netted twice and registered 3 assists already this campaign. Should start the game as one of the two strikers.

Alfredo Morelos (ST)

The 21-year old Colombian striker has started off brilliantly, scoring 5 in 7 games in all competitions. Will partner Miller at the top.
