Predicted Tottenham line-up to face Wolves in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur were well beaten by Manchester City last time out as the Lilywhites failed to get on the scoresheet. Spurs come up against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league this weekend and Mauricio Pochettino will be well aware of the threats.
Though the Wolves are on the back of a two-game loss, they have proven to be a sturdy side this season. Spurs definitely have their work cut out for them.
Team News
A number of Tottenham stars have returned but a couple of them are still out injured. Eric Dier seems to have picked up a slight injury and could be unavailable for this game. Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen will also be out through injury.
Probable Tottenham Hotspur XI
Manager: Mauricio Pochettino
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Hugo Lloris (GK)
The Frenchman needs to show more consistency in his displays.
Kieran Trippier (RB)
Trippier has been unable to provide much in the last few games. The England defender needs to do more.
Davinson Sanchez (CB)
Sanchez has stood in well for Vertongehn but was easily troubled by the Manchester City attackers last week.
Toby Alderweireld (CB)
The Belgian has been superb at the back this season. He will definitely start this game.
Ben Davies (LB)
Davies has seen a slight dip in his form this season and needs to work on his consistency.
Harry Winks (RCM)
Winks could come in for Eric Dier. He looked good after coming on against Manchester City.
Mousa Dembele (LCM)
Dembele will definitely play a crucial role in what could be his final season for Spurs since his contract is expiring at the end of the campaign.
Dele Alli (RAM)
Alli should start this game in place of Moussa Sissoko after impressing in mid-week.
Christian Eriksen (CAM)
Eriksen will surely return to his favoured central attacking role and dictate the play.
Lucas Moura (LAM)
Moura could also return to the line-up for this game but the Brazilian needs to show more awareness up front.
Harry Kane (ST)
Kane will be aiming to get back on the scoresheet after wasting a few good chances against City.
