Predicted Wolves line-up to face Huddersfield in the Premier League

After making an impressive start to the season, Wolves would be aiming to keep it going when they face Huddersfield Town at the Molineux this Sunday. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were slightly unlucky to not get anything against Spurs and to only get a point away at Arsenal before the international break.

However, the performance level in both games was fantastic. It was just that they forgot their shooting boots at home. They are now up against a Huddersfield team who are starting to pick up a few points – four in the previous two games.

Team News

Wolves were troubled by injury news coming out of international games. Jonny was forced off injured while he was playing for Spain, while Matt Doherty sat out Republic of Ireland’s games due to a facial injury. The former could be out for a month, and the latter should be fit for next week if not this.

Probable Wolves XI

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo

Rui Patricio (GK)

The Portuguese international has been in great form for the club this season.

Conor Coady

Ryan Bennett (RCB)

The centre-back was at his very best against Arsenal alongside other defenders. He continues to impress everyone in the league.

Conor Coady (CB)

The way the former Liverpool centre-back has played so far, he shouldn’t be far away from an England call-up. The Wolves captain has been simply terrific.

Willy Boly (LCB)

The Frenchman has been a colossus at the back and his passing ability helps the team in building attacks from the back.

Rube Vinagre (LWB)

With Jonny out for a few weeks, expect Vinagre to start the next few games.

Joao Moutinho

Joao Moutinho (CM)

The experienced Moutinho has adapted to the intensity of the Premier League very well. His presence in the midfield is vital to the team.

Ruben Neves (CM)

The youngster is a talisman in the team and remains to be a key member of the squad.

Adama Traore (RWB)

With Doherty expected to miss this game, we may see new signing Traore in action as a right wing-back.

Helder Costa (RW)

The Portuguese was fantastic against Arsenal, using his pace to good effect. He should continue to start on the right wing.

Raul Jimenez

Raul Jimenez (ST)

The loanee from Benfica has done a terrific job for the team, leading the line. But the manager would be seeking more goals from him.

Ivan Cavaleiro (LW)

Scored against the Gunners and looked a threat up front. If he continues to score, Diogo Jota might have to wait for a few more days on the bench.
