Predicted Everton line-up to face Watford in the Premier League
Everton will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they take the field against Watford at Vicarage Road this Saturday. After a meek display against Wolves, Marco Silva’s men came up with a better show versus Manchester City, but that wasn’t even enough to take a point.
As a result of that, the Toffees have lost three of their previous four league games, and are slipping down the table. They are currently ninth in the standings but have played a game extra, and the teams below them aren’t far away. Hence, the Merseysiders must win when they visit Hertfordshire at the weekend.
However, Watford are tough customers to come up against, especially at their home. So the task is huge for Silva’s men.
Team News
Phil Jagielka and Yerry Mina are doubtful for this game. Leighton Baines is certainly out for this one after playing through injury against Wolves and aggravating that.

Jordan Pickford (GK)
The England number one is Everton’s number one and he starts every league game for them. Nothing is expected to be different this weekend.
Jonjoe Kenny (RW)
The youngster did admirably well against City and deserves to keep his place in the team.
Michael Keane (CB)
With Jagielka and Mina out, it has been the Keane-Zouma partnership in central defence.
Kurt Zouma (CB)
He was very sharp against the Cityzens and read the dangers very well. More of the same would be needed this Saturday.
Lucas Digne (LB)
The Frenchman is the team’s first-choice left-back and should start most of the league games regardless of whether Baines is fit or not (with due respect to Baines).
Idrissa Gueye (CM)
Came back from injury and performed at the highest level against the defending champions. The Senegalese star is a certain starter in the midfield whenever fit.
Andre Gomes (CM)
Tom Davies covered an awful lot of ground and played the full game on Wednesday, while Gomes was subbed off. Hence, we could see the latter starting against Watford.
Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)
He was surprisingly on the bench against City and played the last few minutes. Expect the Icelander to start this Saturday though.
Richarlison (LW)
Another surprise omission for the midweek game and just like Sigurdsson, he will most probably start against the Hornets.
Ademola Lookman (RW)
Theo Walcott wasted a lot of promising situations against City. Thus, it is high time that Marco Silva benches the former Arsenal man and starts with Lookman on the right wing.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (ST)
He did a good job against the Manchester City defenders and ran the channel well. Expect the youngster to start this weekend.
