Predicted Norwich City line-up to face Derby County in the Championship

Norwich City will lock horns with Derby County at Carrow Road in the Championship on Saturday. The Canaries played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day. But after dropping points at home, Daniel Farke will expect Norwich City to bounce back to winning ways against Frank Lampard’s Derby.

Derby, meanwhile, are sixth in the table and come into this game on the back of a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United.

Team News

Norwich City will be without winger Emi Buendia, who picked up an ankle injury against Nottingham Forest.

Moritz Leitner will be out until the end of January with an ankle ligament damage, while Matt Jarvis and Carlton Morris remain out.

Probable Norwich City XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Daniel Farke

Tim Krul (GK)

A reliable presence in goal, Krul is set to retain his place in the team.

Max Aarons (RB)

Aarons has established himself as a regular fixture in the team. He is expected to start against Derby.

Timm Klose (CB)

What a massive boost for Norwich City to see Klose return from injury in the last game. He is a rock-solid defender who will look to keep the Derby attackers at bay.

Ben Godfrey (CB)

Alongside Klose, Godfrey should start in central defence for the Canaries on Saturday.

Jamal Lewis (LB)

Lewis is a speedy full-back who tries to get forward and provide width to his team.

Alex Tettey (CM)

Tettey is an indispensable figure for Farke due to his tackling traits and ball-playing ability.

Alex Tettey

Marco Vrancic (CM)

With Leitner out until January, Vrancic would continue partnering Tettey in the Norwich City midfield.

Onel Hernandez (RW)

Scored two after coming off the bench in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Forest. For all the impact he made, Hernandez deserves to start against Derby.

Marco Stiepermann (CAM)

Stiepermann is ideal for the No.10 role. He has the ability to change the course of the game in a flash. An important player for the Canaries and should keep his place in the team.

Todd Cantwell (LW)

Starting on the left should be Cantwell, who will look to create things in the final third for the home side.

Teemu Pukki (ST)

Couldn’t get on the scoresheet last time out and that will definitely make him hungrier to score against Derby.
