It’s Mario Balotelli Again!

What a revelation Mario Balotelli has been for AC Milan so far? From a troubled season at Manchester City to an impressive start to his second coming to Italy, a remarkable turn around from the Super Mario.

The Italian International has been wearing a new pair of Nike boots since he first debuted for Milan. The boots have been engraved with the names of Balotelli’s foster parents: Franco and Silvia (His foster father’s actual name is Francesco). In his first two matches for Milan against Udinese and Cagliari he scored 3 goals and last night added one more to his tally with a brilliant free kick.

AC Milan hosted mid-table Parma last night and the hosts won the game 2-1. Balotelli’s thumping drive past Parma keeper Nicola Pavarini proved to be the difference between the sides. The win puts them on par with third placed Lazio and a point ahead of their rivals Inter.

Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport awarded Balotelli as the Man of the Match with a rating of 7 on a scale from 1 to 10, where 6 is considered to be average. It’s the third time in a row that Balotelli is awarded as Man of the Match.

If he keeps his head down and work hard, Balotelli can surely be a revelation with AC Milan.

Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that the Italian international’s arrival has boosted his team following a disappointing first half to the season.

“I think the club have made a very good buy with Mario, at a decisive moment in the championship,” the 45-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are making a big comeback now and I am happy with the players.

“Niang worked very hard for the team tonight. He is very young, but has helped out a lot in all areas.”

Balotelli may have to sit out on Wednesday when Milan face Barcelona in the Champions league as he is cup tied with Manchester City.
