Arsenal star Bacary Sagna is set to leave Emirates in Summer after rejecting the offered contract from the Gunners.
The French right back was linked with a move out of England with clubs like Inter Milan, Monaco, and PSG showing interest in his signature. But the latest reports suggest that Sagna wants to stay in the premier league and Manchester City are the favorites to sign the Veteran defender.
The Inter president, Erick Thohir, told his club’s official website ,
“If Sagna decided to stay in England, we would understand and in that case, we might bring in a young player from our academy.”
According to The Guardian, Manchester City have offered a 3 year contract to Sagna and he is expected to make his decision when the current season ends.
If this move happens, He will become the fifth Arsenal player to join the ranks at Etihad in recent times after Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Touré, Samir Nasri and Gaël Clichy.
