Transfer News: Jose Mourinho Will Sell These Three Manchester United Players

The former English international believes that Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick will make their way out of the Old Trafford if Jose Mourinho arrives at the club.

Yesterday, Manchester United confirmed that Louis van Gaal will no longer remain the manager of the club, and it is highly reported, that Jose Mourinho is on his to become Manchester United’s new manager.

Michael Carrick will be a free agent as his contract expires this summer, and Redknapp feels, that Mourinho will not renew his contract.

On the other hand, Fellaini has never been the United quality since David Moyes signed the Belgium international in a £27m deal from Everton.

Former Spurs midfielder Redknapp believes Mourinho will look to sell the midfield trio if the 53-year-old takes over the reins at Old Trafford.

“Juan Mata has done well for United and scored some important goals — not least in the FA Cup final — but Mourinho let him go at Chelsea and I wouldn’t have thought the Spaniard is in his plans,” Redknapp told Daily Mail.

“Michael Carrick is not getting any younger, and while he did well in the FA Cup final, Marouane Fellaini is not good enough for United.”
