It’s the clash of the Manchester clubs next week, the first Manchester derby this season and it just got bigger because of the fight for 1st position in the premier league table and ofcourse the local pride which are at stake. Manchester city and England goal keeper Joe Hart relishes the chance of playing against United and is eagerly waiting for the chance.

Joe Hart excited about the Derby clash

But before the sides meet, both have relatively minor Champions League business to take care of. Though City are already out of the Champions league, they travel to Germany trying to restore some pride and finish champions league on a high against Dortmund who are at the top of the table.

Hart said: “We move on to the derby now, and we’ve obviously got Dortmund on Tuesday.

“We’ve got a tough one in Dortmund. We need to finish the Champions League group with a bit of pride.

“Hopefully we’ll get a good result there and we’ll get into that one (derby). We’ll deal with that when it comes.”

City are behind rivals United by three points as they came from behind to get get a 1-1 draw against Everton to keep their unbeaten run intact.

“It’s a great record – one we need to keep going, but with more wins than draws.

“It was a tough game. It is always going to be tough against Everton. We’d like to win but we haven’t lost.

“They are a good team, they work for each other. They have got some good players and a good manager, and all that added together makes them a tough team to play against.”

Manchester United will be hoping to end the unbeaten run of their rivals when they travel across town next weekend and we have an exciting game in our hands as the winner could go on top of the league.
