Jokanovic to make 1 change – Predicted 4-3-3 Fulham line-up to face Sheffield Wednesday In The EFL Championship

Predicted Fulham Line-up To Face Sheffield Wednesday In The EFL Championship

Saturday sees 3rd placed promotion-hopefuls Fulham take on 16th placed Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Championship. Fulham will be looking to push on and gain an easy victory, however, Sheffield Wednesday are battlers, and will not go down without a fight.

Fulham will be buoyed by their victory against Leeds on Monday night and will be looking for more of the same from their midfielders and strikers, who all were excellent.

Probable Fulham XI

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Marcus Bettinelli (GK)

The 25-year-old English goalkeeper has been an ever-present for Fulham this season. A quality choice between the sticks.

Matt Targett (LB)

Played well against Leeds, although Jokanovic will be expecting him to have a more attack-oriented role against Sheffield Wednesday.

Tim Ream (CB)

Ream has been top quality for the Cottagers this season, especially when he has been partnered with Denis Odoi. They are both fit for this game and will be looking for another clean sheet.

Tim Ream

Denis Odoi (CB)

Denis Odoi turned in another top performance against Leeds and has been class all season. He will be looking to add to his clean sheet tally for the season in this game.

Ryan Fredericks (RB)

The 25-year-old has been with Fulham since 2015, after coming through the youth academy at Tottenham. Has always looked like a quality pick for the right-back position.

Tom Cairney (CM)

Cairney grabbed another assist against Leeds, which took his tally to 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 games. Fulham fans will be hoping that his red-hot form continues.

Stefan Johansen

Kevin McDonald (CM)

Had a good game against Leeds, breaking up the play well and looking solid. Picked up another yellow card but his form is keeping Norwood out of the squad for the moment.

Stefan Johansen (CM)

The Fulham midfield trio of Cairney, McDonald and Johansen has been classy all season for the Cottagers and Johansen will be hungry to put in a good performance.

Tom Cairney

Lucas Piazon (RW)

Piazon was on the bench against Leeds but Ayite under-performed in that game. Piazon has been a threat going forward and will be hoping to get back to goal-scoring ways.

Ryan Sessegnon (LW)

Had another great game against Leeds and is essential to the way Fulham play. Provides so much creativity and energy going forward and is absolutely handful for the opposition defence.

Aleksander Mitrovic (ST)

Mitrovic has been an absolute revelation since coming on loan from Newcastle. He got another goal and assist against Leeds to continue his scintillating streak. Will be hoping to continue his scoring run here.
