Here is the predicted lineup that he might field for this trip to Middlesbrough.

Team News:

The Reds will still be without the services of star players Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings for this game. Dejan Lovren pulled his hamstring at the weekend and might not be risked for this game while midfielder Emre Can, who missed the game against West Ham, is expected to be back in action after nursing his knee injury. Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez are not considered match fit.

Loris Karius:

Though he had a day to forget against the Hammers, Karius has an immediate chance at redemption and it would be cruel for Klopp to not offer him that chance.

Nathaniel Clyne:

The English full-back is one of the most consistent players for Liverpool and he will start this game on Wednesday.

Joel Matip:

After a decent performance against West Ham, coming back from injury, Matip should keep his place in the side for this game against Middlesbrough.

Ragnar Klavan:

Hardly put a foot wrong after replacing Lovren and is expected to keep his place in the side till the former Southampton man is back in action.

James Milner:

The midfielder turned left-back, Milner was one of the most influential players for Liverpool against West Ham and he should keep his place in the side for this game.

Jordan Henderson:

The skipper of the side, Henderson, was superb at the weekend and almost gave his side all three points with a superb strike. He should keep his place in the midfield of his side for this game against West Ham.

Georginio Wijnaldum:

The Dutch international missed a couple of half-chances at the weekend and will hope to make amends in this game at the Riverside.

Ovie Ejaria:

Though not yet a first team player regularly, Ejaria showed enough promise in the past for Klopp to trust him in this game against Middlesbrough.

Sadio Mane:

The Senegalese winger has been superb for Liverpool this season and picked up an assist at the weekend, he should start this game for the side, hoping to give them a comfortable lead before picking up some rest.

Roberto Firmino:

The Brazilian has not been at his best on the wing and he should be pushed back into a false 9 position for this game against Middlesbrough.

Adam Lallana:

One of the most important players for the side this season, Lallana will get a chance to effect the game in a more advanced role in this game at the Riverside.
