La Liga Giants Could Possibly Do Business With Arsenal To Complete An ‘Old Dream’

Former La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are now looking for a replacement for their departing midfield superstar Arda Turan. The Turkish international’s agent is at present, in talks with other clubs and a deal could be announced by Friday. The Spanish media has been making several claims on where he could be moving to and  now AS have listed some of his potential replacements.

Benfica’s Nicolas Gaitan was one of the possible targets,  with a deal quite likely to happen. Kevin De Bruyne was another player under their radar though he will be too costly for Atletico.

Pedro was also in the spotlight and an interesting option as was Yevhen Konoplyanka, with the Spanish giants desperate to sign another high-quality midfielder.

Cazorla to Atletico Madrid?

Another target that has emerged quite often has been Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla, whom AS called an ‘old dream’. Cazorla has been linked with the Spanish club for years and many a times a deal was said to be confirmed.

Now, though the chances of the Gunners selling one of their most consistent players from last season is low, Arsene Wenger merciless attitude in the transfer market can surely strike again.
