Leeds United’s forward line would be sorted for the next decade if they land this Juventus teenage star in the summer

Leeds United Opinion: Should Leeds reignite interest in Moise Kean?

At the moment, Leeds United are second in the Championship and while things have not been going their way of late, they are among the top candidates to get promoted.

The Whites under Marcelo Bielsa have been playing good football, which is why the fans are hoping to see their club back in the Premier League after a 15-year break.

However, if they do get promoted, Leeds will have to invest heavily to add a few players to ensure their survival. One of those players should be Juventus starlet Moise Kean, a former Marcelo Bielsa target.

Leeds were linked with a move for the striker during the summer window (Daily Star). However, no move ever materialised. While Kemar Roofe has done a relatively good job as a centre-forward this season, the likes of Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts have struggled.

While the latter is only 20 years old, Bamford was supposed to be the answer to Leeds United’s issues up front. However, the former Middlesbrough striker has failed to make an impact this season, thanks in part to a myriad of injury issues.

That hasn’t been an issue in the past with the 25-year-old but Bamford has struggled to operate at a higher level when called upon. While the former Chelsea youth star has been at his best in the Championship, he’s struggled when moved up higher.

Moise Kean, on the other hand, simply loves the pressure and while his time at Juventus has been marred by a lack of game time, the 19-year-old has still done well. One of Italian football’s brightest prospects, the striker has everything to flourish under Marcelo Bielsa.

Not only is he quick off the mark, but Kean is also very physical, aggressive and possesses a great technical ability. However, like most 19-year-olds whose names aren’t Kylian Mbappe, Kean has been inconsistent in front of goal, but that will change with age and under the right manager.

For Leeds United, however, adding the Italian striker means that they would get a long-term star.
