Big News: Liverpool In Pole Position To Sign Croatian Winger

Liverpool are leading the chase for Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb as admitted by the sporting director of the club.

The player had scored 8 goals in 28 appearances for the Dinamo Zagreb last season and that saw him get selected for Euro 2016 squad. Now that Croatia’s run in the competition is over, Liverpool are in advanced talks regarding the signing of the 21 year old winger. There are competition for his signature from Italy as Inter Milan, AC Milan and Fiorentina are also said to be chasing the player.

However, talking to Marko Vukelic, the sporting director at Zagreb, it has been revealed that the player is likely to move to Premier League. Liverpool does not have any competition from Premier League to sign the player and thus we can safely say that if Pjaca moves out of the club, he will come to Liverpool. A copy of the transcript from the interview with FCInterNews is given below.

“The boy has been very clear through his Facebook profile that there has been no agreement with Inter and he is still a player for Dynamo Zagreb. He’s now on vacation then he will be at our disposal but there are a few possibilities with other clubs including Inter. I will say is that his future looks to be in the Premier League and clubs over there are in pole-position to sign him”
