Liverpool have been chasing the Polish international Piotr Zielinski for a long time, but it seems like they will have to go empty handed as reports from TalkSport is suggesting that Napoli have beaten the English side to sign Zielinski.
The Polish international spend 2 wonderful loan spells at Empoli from Udinese and have caught the eyes of many European clubs. In his 35 appearances for Empoli, he scored 5 goals and created 52 chances for the side.
According to TalkSport, Napoli have entered the negotiations with Zielinski’s representatives and are close to agreeing personal terms. On the other hand, it is believed that Liverpool could still hijack the deal by slapping a mega bid down for the youngster – but it is understood they are now pursuing other targets.
