[Image] Predicted 4-3-3 Liverpool XI to face Chelsea: Can the Merseysiders return to winning ways?

Liverpool vs Chelsea prediction: Liverpool line-up

Liverpool head into this game after suffering their first loss over 90 minutes this season to Napoli as 2 late goals decided the outcome for the Italians.

However, the Reds still have their 100% record in the Premier League and will go into this game believing that they can get all 3 points.

Last season, the same fixture required a worldie from Daniel Sturridge in the final seconds of the game to keep the scores even. The two sides faced each other in the Super Cup last month and the Reds won it on penalties.

They’ll be heading into this game believing that they can set another marker for the rest of the season.

Team News

Alisson will be recovering from his calf injury and Naby Keita is recovering from a muscle problem.

The rest of the side is fit to play at Stamford Bridge.

Predicted line-up

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Adrian – Goalkeeper

The Spaniard made an absolutely outstanding save at Naples and it’s to his great credit that Alisson hasn’t been missed as much.

Adrian

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Right-back

The local boy has become the primary playmaker for the side from that right-flank and will provide some much-needed creativity.

Joel Matip – Centre-back

The Cameroonian has been outstanding this season and is likely to continue being a starter.

Virgil Van Dijk – Centre-back

The Dutchman made an uncharacteristic error against Napoli but he’s the one that organises that backline and is the first name on the teamsheet.

Andy Robertson- Left-back

The Scottish international hasn’t been his marauding self yet but was very impressive in the games against the Magpies. The Reds will be hoping for more of the same.

Fabinho – Holding midfielder

He made a slow start to his Liverpool career but has made himself into one of the best holding midfielders in the world,

Jordan Henderson – Central midfielder

The captain is the engine room in the side and helps massively in Liverpool playing their pressing game.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Central midfielder

He hasn’t quite hit the heights since coming back from injury but he’ll be hoping he can have an impactful game on the weekend.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Mohammed Salah – Right-wing

The Egyptian is the star man. He plays when fit.

Roberto Firmino – Centre-forward

The Brazilian was not as his best at Naples but was outstanding against Newcastle. He’ll link everything together.

Sadio Mane – Left-wing

The Senegalese also didn’t have his best outing but he’s an absolute handful.
