Over the years several of Arsenal players left the club to seek greener pastures in Camp Nou but we have not seen many players moving in the opposite direction.
Last senior player to move from FC Barcelona to Arsenal was Alexis Sanchez and he has created quite an impact at Emirates. Now he may be joined by another Barcelona player in Arda Turan. The 29-year-old player has found it difficult to break into the first team of Barcelona and is believed to be ready to stay back and fight for his position. However according to Express sport, the player may be sold by Barcelona as the Spanish champions have recently purchased Andre Gomes from Valencia, thus further slimming the chances of first team football for Turan.
The Turkey international joined the Blaugrana last season but could not play for the first 6 months due to a transfer embargo. However even after that he could not impress Luis Enrique. Now with Gunners interested the deal could become very easy for Arsenal to complete. The only question, though, “Do Arsenal need another midfielder?”
