According to the Metro, Real Madrid are considering selling German World Cup winner and multiple Champions League winner Toni Kroos. There have been concerns over the midfielder’s performance this season which has led to this speculation.
As per the report, Premier League giants Manchester United are in the front of the queue to sign the player. The 28-year-old, who guided Los Blancos to three consecutive Champions League titles, is unhappy with the role he is playing under new manager Julien Lopetegui. (Metro)
United were keen admirers of the player when he was at Bayern Munich. They tried to sign him then but he went to the Bernabeu instead. However, the Red Devils are keeping close tabs on his situation now. (Metro)

The qualities which Toni Kroos possesses is right up there with the best in the world. The German is possibly one of the best central midfielders in the business right now. His ball movement, game intelligence and elegance are not matched by many in European football.
One of the main attributes the 28-year-old has is the control over the game. He is always one step ahead of other midfielders in tight situations, which allows to him read the game better and make telling forward passes.
He is very adept in covering the spaces off the ball to make it difficult for the opposition.
If a player has won three Champions League titles in a row, and has a World Cup to show, it means he most certainly does many things right. It is what Kroos is all about – minimising the mistakes in tight areas, playing football of the highest order and taking control of the games with nonchalance.
Manchester United need someone like him in midfield. Mourinho’s men have struggled to harness command in games because they tend to get overrun in the central areas.
If they sign the German, they can dominate the big games.
