Man Utd highlights: Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood scored a brilliant free-kick in an U-23’s game against Newcastle United.

Greenwood, 17, continues to be an exciting prospect for the Red Devils as he showed his class against the Magpies.

The England U-21 international an unbelievable free-kick from outside the box.

The young man seems to be taking a leaf out of Lionel Messi’s book.

Greenwood has now scored two goals and set up two more in five appearances for United in Premier League division 2.

After spending years at Old Trafford’s academy, the English prospect was called into the first-team in 2019.

Greenwood made his dream debut in the Champions League against PSG in the knock out stage, coming on as a substitute.

He had his Premier League debut the following week against Arsenal, becoming the second youngest debutant in the club’s history.

He can play as a centre-forward or an attacking midfielder.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men will be facing FC Barcelona in the second-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at Camp Nou.

The Spanish giants currently have the edge with the aggregate score at 1-0.
