This week, Dutch international Memphis Depay was back in Netherlands, as Manchester United faced his former club PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. The high-quality playmaker performed well and even scored the opening goal of the game though PSV came from behind to secure all three points at the end.

The 21-year-old superstar signed for the Red Devils this summer and BBC had reported that the club paid a fee of £31m. However, as per what ex-FIFA agent Vincent Rodriguez has now stated, the Dutch side confirmed that Depay was sold to the Premier League outfit for a price of just £19m(€25.8m)
If that is the case, then the deal would be a great one, as the amount would nearly be half of what was being mentioned before. A high-quality player who has shown his class in some of the games this season already could play a major part in manager Louis van Gaal’s plans. With 28 goals and 8 assists in 40 appearances, last term, he is surely one man to watch out for.
