It looks like Manchester United fans have started to grow frustrated on the former Arsenal captain after a serious of below par performances upfront for the Red Devils. In the absence of club captain Wayne Rooney van Gaal decided to start RVP in a lone striker role against West Brom, but the Dutch International had a night to forget.

Apart from a couple of flashes at goal, Robin Van Persie looked uninterested throughout the game.
