Why Manchester United should have signed Moussa Dembele
Manchester United’s good start to the season came to halt after their humiliating defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, which gave the Eagles a historic first win over the Red Devils in the Premier League era.
United missed yet another penalty, this time it was Marcus Rashford, which has been an issue for them in the last two games and cost them important points. Not to mention, David De Gea seems to no longer be the player he once was, which has led to the loss of silly points.
On the plus side, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, who are both very young but have a lot of experience have got off the mark early along with new boy Daniel James but with Martial out with injury, the options up top are a little thin.
There is a report from the BBC stating that Manchester United will allow Alexis Sanchez to reunite with Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan, which in theory is the right move but leaves the squad with very few forward options.

As per The Sun, they were linked with Lyon’s Moussa Dembele, who has started another season brightly. The Frenchman is a fantastic all-round striker.
He is very clinical in front of the goal and is capable of holding the ball up, closing down defenders, running the channels and can linking with other forwards.
Last season, he got 15 goals in Ligue 1 along with 5 assists and that figure is only going to improve over time as he’s still only 23.
United are one of the youngest sides in the Premier League since the season started, which is very much in tune with the traditions of the club.
Much will depend on how the likes of Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and Daniel James replace Lukaku and Sanchez’s output. It’s not as difficult a task but it’ll require a real team effort.

Moussa Dembele would’ve quite easily filled that void but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has clearly put his faith in the youth as his manager did many years ago.
