Following a stunning victory against Liverpool, Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker gave a warning to other premier league teams by saying,
“We will show everybody what Arsenal is.”
He also said,
“We believe in ourselves – that was the most important thing for us,”
“Our squad has had many changes and some important players (RVP and Song) has left us.”
“You could see it in the dressing room directly after the match. We are very proud to wear the red and white jersey.”
“We now have to focus on our strengths and that is very important for the upcoming matches, to stay near the top of the league.”
“A lot of challenges are coming after the international break but we are looking forward to them because we are full of confidence. We showed that at Anfield.”, he finished his interview to Arsenal.com.
