Monk to make 1 important change – Predicted 4-4-2 Birmingham line-up to face Bolton Wanderers

Predicted Birmingham City Line-up To Face Bolton Wanderers In The EFL Championship

Birmingham travel to Bolton on Tuesday, hoping to continue their resurgence under new manager Garry Monk. Birmingham have won their last two games and after a hard-fought victory against Ipswich, they find themselves outside the relegation zone.

There are only three points and one place between the two teams and a big win for Birmingham would see the two teams swapping places with Birmingham being almost safe. Bolton, on the other hand, will know that a home win for them would see them inch closer to safety and put Birmingham right back in the mire.

Probable Birmingham City XI

Formation: 4-4-2

GK – David Stockdale

An ever-present for Birmingham this season, the former Brighton goalkeeper will want to build on his clean sheet against Ipswich.

LB – Maxime Colin

The French defender has looked solid since Garry Monk’s arrival and provides a dribbling threat down the left-hand side for Birmingham.

CB – Michael Morrison

The 30-year-old former Charlton defender is in his 4th season for Birmingham. He will want to keep the Bolton attackers quiet on Tuesday.

CB – Harlee Dean

The former Brentford defender was unstoppable against Ipswich and will be glad that another game is coming around so quickly.

RB – Wes Harding

The young defender has started the last two games under Garry Monk and will keep his place as Monk looks to build on his success.

LM – Jacques Maghoma

The 30-year-old is a real handful on the left-hand side and won the penalty against Ipswich. He will want to put the same amount of pressure on the Bolton defence.

CM – Maikel Kieftenbeld

The Dutch midfielder is such a classy player when he gets on the ball and can control the tempo of the game.

CM – Cheikh N’doye

Cheikh N’doye should come in for David Davis who will be more useful from the bench.

RM – Jota

The Birmingham City game changer will want to build on his goal against Ipswich with another impressive attacking display against Bolton.

Che Adams

ST – Che Adams

Che Adams is developing into a perfect second striker and his bustling style makes him a constant menace to most Championship defences.

ST – Lukas Jutkiewicz

The former Burnley striker does not score very often but he is a threat to the defenders when in form. At the moment, he is full of confidence.
