Predicted Rangers Line-up To Face Partick Thistle In The Scottish Premiership
Graeme Murty, still a candidate for the job on a permanent basis, continues to take charge of the Rangers side for now and will look to claim a second successive win after 14,000 travelling fans saw his side come from behind to record a 3-1 win against Hearts at Murrayfield.
They have a home game against Partick Thistle this weekend and while nothing can be taken for granted, the new found confidence, especially among the non-Portuguese players it would seem, has left to a feeling that anything other than a comfortable home win at the weekend will not be accepted.
A 4-2-3-1 formation could be in evidence at Ibrox with the seemingly divisive Kenny Miller once again included.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Graeme Murty
GK – Wes Foderingham
Could have lost his place but for an injury to Jak Alnwick, whatever happens though, he will be in goal this weekend.
RB – James Tavernier
Tav continues to provide his marauding performances down the right and as long as he looks after his defensive duties, he’ll be important against Partick.

CB – Ross McCrorie
Another good showing here will fill him with confidence for the future.
CB – Danny Wilson
Played against his former side Hearts and will most likely line-up again here alongside McCrorie.
LB – Declan John
An excellent left-back in the context of this league and another good performance is expected this time.
CM – Ryan Jack
The former Aberdeen skipper may yet be reunited with his old manager Derek McInnes, but for now he is required to marshal this midfield.

CM – Jason Holt
Was a regular last season and is an able deputy for Graham Dorrans.
RW – Daniel Candeias
Seems to have survived Caixinha’s departure and will continue on the right-hand side.
CAM – Kenny Miller
Will happily sit in behind the main striker and still provides quite a goal threat in this division. His name has been used in a negative way during the whole Caixinha thing, though he remains popular with Rangers fans.

LW – Josh Windass
The Englishman has been doing well this season and has made himself pretty much indispensible. Once he truly finds his scoring touch, he’ll be a very valuable asset in this division.
ST – Alfredo Morelos
As long as his attitude remains positive, he is another player who can still come out of the Caixinha sacking with his reputation fully intact. Definitely a major goal threat this weekend.
