Naismith Out, Yanic Wildschut In – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Norwich Line-Up For The Game Against QPR

Norwich City

Predicted Norwich City Lineup To Face Queens Park Rangers

Norwich City’s form has improved since interim manager Alan Irvine took control of the side and the Canaries will look to finish the season on a high with a win over Ian Holloways’ Queens Park Rangers.

Having scored 7 against promotion hopefuls Reading, plus 3 at Preston, 2 against the newly promoted Brighton and 3 last week at Leeds, it’s clear that Norwich are good going forward. They did manage to let a 3-goal lead slip at Elland Road, though their defenders will face less of an onslaught this week you would feel.

Steven Naismith will be missing after his sending off at Leeds, but a home win will still be expected.

Probable Norwich City Playing XI:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Alan Irvine

GK – John Ruddy

Formerly a part of the England set-up, Ruddy is a very capable ‘keeper and could still play at Premier League level.

RB – Ivo Pinto

The Portuguese right-back should keep his place in the side. His movement will be vital for Norwich’s style of football.

CB – Ryan Bennett

The 27-year old brings tons of experience to the side having played over 60 games in the Premier League and will be vital to the defensive cause.

CB – Russell Martin

Bennett’s long-time partner, this time with over 120 games at the top level, helps in forming a solid pairing at the back.

LB – Mitchell Dijks

The Dutchman would be making just his 15th Championship appearance since joining from Ajax but has been a good addition to the ranks.

CM – Graham Dorrans

Norwich are a different proposition with this guy in the side. Premier League quality for sure, Dorrans remains a vital member of this team.

CM – Jonny Howson

The former Leeds United man knows what is required at this level and will start in central midfield alongside Dorrans.

RW – Yanic Wildschut

Naismith will be a miss, but this man can fill the gap nicely. He will start on the right flank in the place of Steven Naismith.

CAM – Alex Pritchard

The young former Tottenham player definitely has an eye for goal and will provide great support for the no.9.

LW – Josh Murphy

Just 3 goals in the league for the attacker this season, but he remains a dangerous player and will cause plenty of problems down the left.

ST – Nelson Oliveira

The Portuguese striker has a bit of top level experience, playing over 100 games for clubs in the Premier Divisions of Spain, Portugal, France and England. He’s still only 25 and has his best years as a goal scorer ahead of him and 11 goals in 27 for Norwich in the Championship this season is a very respectable record.
