Neymar Open To Moves Outside La Liga

Neymar – open to moves outside La Liga

It is a known fact that Brazilian youngster Neymar has been linked to Barcelona and Real Madrid for quite some time now. And considering his image as the third best player after Messi and Ronaldo and the most talented youngest prodigy the world has seen for some time, it is expected that the La Liga giants are the only possible place the Brazilian would ply his trade in the future. And after several times announced his willingness to play alongside the Messi and Ronaldo the player has released a shocking statement that has made clubs from other European countries to think about a possible move for the starlet.

The Santos forward, who is expected to depart Brazilian domestic football in the near future, has announced his openness towards a move to either the Premier League or the Serie A. And although there’s nothing concrete from any team in Europe right now, this could be the biggest transfer in the making after Ronaldo’s move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

In a press conference after Brazil’s 1-1 draw in a International friendly against Colombia last night, Neymar said:

“They are both big countries with great teams and great national teams. I don’t have any (specific) choices right now, I do dream about playing in Europe, but there’s nothing concrete at this time… maybe in the future.”

Though it may not mean anything big about his possible move away from Santos, but the reputation that Neymar has created ever since making his debut in 2009 will indeed ring the bells to manager across various European clubs. Neymar has been linked with Chelsea in the past, especially after the Blues’ top executives flew down to Brazil to try to convince the forward to join the team in London. The talks went unsuccessful as the striker opted to listen to his close associates to wait for a move to La Liga instead which is much more easier to shine as an individual. The possible clubs that may look to swoop the youngster include England’s Manchester City and Chelsea, big spending Paris Saint Germain, Italian giants AC and Inter Milan.

Neymar has scored 52 goals in 99 games for the Brazilian side.
